Pat Lepore was elected in November of 2004 and reelected in 2007 and in November 2010. Freeholder Lepore is also serving his third term as the Mayor of Woodland Park.
Growing up in Paterson, the Mayor graduated from St. Joseph's High School. Pat and his wife, Linda, have been proud to call the Borough of Woodland Park home for the past 33 years. Their son, Robert, is currently on active duty as a United States Marine, and they are very proud that their son has continued the family tradition of service to his country. As Freeholder Lepore very proudly commented at his swearing in, "My son's public service far exceeds my own". Upon election to the Freeholder Board, Pat retired as a Sales Representative for the Entenmann's Division of George Weston Bakeries, but remains a member the IBT Union, Local 802 located in Long Island City, New York. Mayor Pat Lepore's commitment to public service is evident in his many accomplishments and dedication to both Woodland Park and Passaic County. Pat has served Woodland Park as a member of their Planning Board, Municipal Alliance, the Alfred H. Baumann Library Board, the Office of Emergency Management, and the Board of Education Bond Referendum Committee.
Pat's first experience as an elected official was serving as a Councilman from 1995-1996. However, he has not confined himself to just serving Woodland Park and is pleased to serve all of the residents of Passaic County as a member of Passaic County's Vision 2020, Inc. and the Passaic County 200 Club. Pat serves on the Passaic County Utilities Authority.
In 2011, Freeholder Lepore is Chairman of the Administration and Finance Committee and the Law and Public Safety Committee and a member of the Human Services Committee. He is a member of the Passaic County Planning Board. He represents Passaic County as a member of the North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority.
